Mentoring Program

The New Mentoring Program

at The Learning Farm

gives kids, ages 5 - 16,

the opportunity to learn about what it takes

to do the daily care of the variety of animals here.

Feed the animals, fill water buckets, clean pens,

put in new bedding, etc. Bottle feed the calves and

slop the pigs!!  Our mentors, Brittiany and Shyanne,

will work along side the kids to show them proper

handling and care.

Mentoring fee goes to the mentors.

$10 per child for 1.5 hours at the farm

( minimum of 2 kids per mentor and maximum of 4 per mentor)

After three sessions, farm helpers earn a Learning Farm t-shirt

After six sessions, farm helpers earn an instructed lesson with one

of the mentors.

Normal time for the Mentor Program is Saturdays 3- 4:30pm

Times may be changed due to other activities scheduled at the farm.
